Merry Christmas to all of you! I'm sorry I didn't make it yesterday, but between dessert making, gift wrapping (last minute, as always), preparing, singing, church, eating, celebrating and gift giving, there was simply no time.
Some quotes that might tell you a bit about how things were yesterday at our house:
Papa:'You're planning on singing tonight at church?'
Me:'Of course!'
Papa (already walking away with a huge grin on his face): 'Good. You're one of two Altos and if you don't sing, the other won't, either.'
Mama:'Ups, I think we're out of scotch tape.'
Papa:'Has anyone seen the scissors?'
Hanna:'Where's the scotch tape?'
Hanna:'Julia, is this wrapped?'
Me:'Of course it is. Can't you see that?'
Hanna: 'Are we leaving it like that, or should I wrap it again?'
...
We had a wonderful Holy Night.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. Thank you all for going through this Advent season with me. It was a real pleasure and during those times when I was just too tired to be grinning wildly, your comments always made me smile.
There is one last Advent gift to be given away today.
Advent gift number 23 goes to Jade.
