After December's excitement, I thought January was bound to be calmer. I thought I might have the time to respond to all incoming emails, do overdue paperwork and catch up on housework.
Well, to give you an update: Right now I probably owe every single one of you an email, I still owe the Advent calendar winners their gifts, with the overdue paperwork I could win an origami contest of major proportions and the housework will soon grow six legs and come crawling down the stairs to greet me at the entrance door.
There were very good news though, this January. News of major proportions for me, if I may put it that way.
Usually Janet challenges me to things like 'finish your day at seven and then sit on the couch and do nothing but watch a movie'. Completely unreasonable and impossible things, but this time it seemed as though I could rise to the challenge (thanks, Janet).
And second, I've been accepted as a teacher at the Institute of Design in Berlin. Beginning in April, second and third semesters will suffer my tyranny. God bless their poor souls. They don't know what's coming yet.
We read in between the lines of this post:
If you're waiting for an email or an illustration, please be patient. I'm doing my best to work down the to-do-list, but it keeps getting longer and not shorter.
