(The path is the goal)
No, today I won't tell you about my teaching career. Even though being mean might sometimes come in handy when it comes to real life students.
A couple of weeks ago I finished a big job for a german magazine called TPS. It's a publication for kindergarten teachers and other child caregivers (thank you Janet for this very useful addition to my vocabulary). One illustrator or photographer gets to do an entire issue. Which is wonderful but challenging.
The last illustration came to me at the very last minute and after I sent it to the editor he called me right back to tell me in a very very calm voice:'Miss Freund, you're always very mean. And that's perfectly ok...'
It wasn't the illustration you see above, that one is perfectly harmless compared to my last idea. I haven't decided if you'll get to see that last one or not. I've a reputation to defend here.
I think I'm at a decisive moment in my career and will soon go into therapy. I've lived under the illusion of being a very nice person all my adult life.
How could this have happened?
