The article is about ways to kindle responsibility in each member of a team.
Getting this one done was a little adventure because the text was changed significantly at the last minute and I had to modify my initial idea. When I came up with the sketch I already knew my usual colored pencils wouldn't work on this one, or at least not if I wanted it to turn out the way I saw it in my head.
Acrylics saved the day, a technique I haven't used in years. And wouldn't you believe it? I had so much fun! Not only did I get a chance to go shopping for new paint and brushes - and I love shopping for anything, really - I also got to try out and learn new things.
Which made me remember a conversation between two of my students I recently overheard (yes, I eavesdrop whenever I can. How else would hear of anything really interesting?!):
'...No really, you can learn new things even when you're older! I have a friend who recently started to learn Spanish. And she's 35!'
... And thus it was that in less than ten seconds I turned from being one of the youngest teachers in our school to being an old dinosaur.
